Nasıl çalışır
Uygulamayı ilk açtığında iki şey sorulur: sözü hangi saatte almak istediğin ve hangi dilde okuyacağın. Hepsi bu — kayıt yok, hesap yok, sorulan başka soru yok.
Her günün sözü tarihe göre belirlenir: bildirimde okuduğun söz ile uygulamayı açtığında gördüğün söz her zaman aynıdır. Aynı gün, herkes için aynı söz.

- 1066 sözTürkçe 533, İngilizce 533. İki arşiv birbirinin çevirisi değil; her dil kendi kaynaklarından beslenir.
- Kamu malı kaynaklarStoacılar, antik Yunan, Doğu bilgeliği, Türk edebiyatı ve 19–20. yüzyıl düşünürleri. Sözün geldiği eserin adı da görünür.
- Çevrimdışı arşivBütün arşiv uygulamanın içinde. Sözü okumak, aramak ve bildirim almak için internet gerekmez; yalnız reklamlar bağlantı ister.

Neler yok
Abonelik yok — tek seferlik satın alma, ve reklamları kalıcı olarak kaldırıyor. Hesap yok — e-posta bile istenmiyor. Senden bilgi istenmiyor — seçtiğin saat ve dil yalnızca senin cihazında durur. Reklamlar kişiselleştirilmemiş istenir: seni tanıyarak değil, bağlama göre seçilir. Uygulamanın istediği tek izin bildirim iznidir; vermezsen uygulama yine çalışır, yalnızca hatırlatma almazsın.

How it works
The first time you open the app you are asked two things: what time you would like your quote, and which language you read in. That is all — no sign-up, no account, no further questions.
Each day's quote is derived from the date, so the quote in your notification and the quote in the app are always the same one. Same day, same quote, for everyone.
What is inside
- 1066 quotes533 in English, 533 in Turkish. The two archives are not translations of each other; each language draws on its own sources.
- Public-domain sourcesThe Stoics, classical Greece, Eastern wisdom, English letters and nineteenth-century thinkers — with the work each quote comes from.
- Offline archiveThe whole archive ships inside the app. Reading, searching and notifications need no internet; only the ads require a connection.
- Favourites and past daysStar what you like; swipe back through earlier days. Both are free.
- SharingShare a quote as plain text, or as an image card printed in the colours of your chosen theme.
- One-time PremiumFive colour palettes, three typefaces, the home screen widget, five reminders a day and your own quotes. Not a subscription — lifetime.
What is not inside
No subscription — one single purchase, and it removes the ads for good. No account — not even an e-mail address. We ask you for nothing — your chosen time and language stay on your device. Ads are requested as non-personalised: chosen by context, not by who you are. The only permission requested is notifications; decline it and the app still works, you simply get no reminder.
One sentence a day. Three hundred and sixty-five a year.
